Celebrate a New Century with OCAC Building Dedication

As a principal center for education, dialogue, and the mastery of contemporary craft for future generations of artists, OCAC is proud to announce the dedication of the new Jean Vollum Drawing, Painting and Photography Building and Bonnie Laing-Malcolmson Thesis Studios on October 2, 2010. The College and Honorary Event Co-Chairs John Gray, Howard Hedinger and Arlene and Harold Schnitzer invite the community to celebrate the unveiling of these new buildings from 11:00am-4:00pm, with a dedication ceremony at noon.

The wooded OCAC campus will come alive with fun for all ages including the introduction of new OCAC President Denise Mullen; free hands-on craft activities for children and adults; art and craft demonstrations; tours of OCAC studios and the new buildings; an alumni art sale featuring jewelry, fibers, painting, photography, wood, book arts and ceramic; Hands On Café lunches for purchase; Cornell Farm plant sale; Art Media art supply sale, art and craft books for sale from Monograph Bookwerks and face painting.
