Call to Fiber and Jewelry Artists

Larson Gallery is soliciting entries for Adorn the Form: New Directions in Fiber and Jewelry, a biennial national juried exhibition that runs April 13 through May 12, 2012. Approximately $3,000 in prize money will be awarded. Eligible work includes hats, showes, bags, jewelry, scarves, hair adornments, belts, etc in media such as metal, fiber, paper, plastic and other materials. Adorn the Form offers a broad platform for fiber and jewelry artists beyond garment or wearable art. This year’s juror is Seattle metalsmith and stylist, Jana Brevick. She has work in the collection of Tacoma Art Museum and exhibits work at SOIL Gallery and Facere Jewelry Art Gallery both in Seattle. Learn more about the juror at http://janabrevick.com. Only original artwork not previously shown in a juried exhibition at the Larson Gallery and completed during the preceding two calendar years will be considered.
